The mission of the Learning to CARE Institute is to provide quality consulting and training on all aspects of volunteerism with the long term goal of expanding the number and improving the quality of specialists in volunteerism who can promote, facilitate, and improve volunteering throughout the Arab region and beyond.
The Learning to CARE Institute is a social venture. This means that, while it is a for-profit institution, its main objective is to contribute positively to society. Our need to make profits is to assure the sustainability of our work, without the need for a Board of Directors, members, or fund-raising programs. Most of our consulting and training is for a fee. But much of our work is non-for-profit, such as our newsletter, our online resources, and our promotion of independent initiatives that support volunteering like the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and Global Youth Service Days (GYSD).
